KCR to hold first meeting with ministers today at newly-inaugurated Secretariat
The Secretariat was named after Dr BR Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution.
CM KCR will review the work on Palamuru-Ranga Reddy lift irrigation project, the expansion of Karivena and Udandapur canals and the transfer of drinking water from Udandapur. He will also review the progress of the canal to Kodangal and Vikarabad as well as the new projects started in the state and their works.
He is also likely to discuss crop losses incurred by farmers due to unseasonal rains. On Sunday, heavy rains once again caused damage to crops.
KCR on Sunday inaugurated the Secretariat spread over 10,51,676 square feet on 28 acres land in the heart of Hyderabad. Ministers and other government servants started work at the new Secretariat on Monday. It was named after Dr BR Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution.
